Is located at the corner Corner of Lush Lane and Doyle Road in Deltona, Florida. It is a recreational facility featuring nature trails and interpretive venues. The property is also used for stormwater management and natural resource preservation purposes. Habitats range from upland oaks and pines to a wet meadow spanned by an elevated boardwalk allowing for great viewing opportunities. A large retention pond attracts herons and ducks. Trails beyond the retention pond lead to a bike trail in a wooded area that offers good habitat for songbirds.
Harry Robinson studied the park from November, 2013 through December 2015, censusing the birds found along the trails. He issued a monthly report summarizing the highlights of his observations. In addition to Harry's studies, field trip reports were issued by Eli Shaperow recounting birds found on group outings. The reports and resulting bird list are available below.
