A 2 to 3 mile walk around the impoundments at this water treatment facility.
Comfortable shoes, sunscreen and sun protection a must. There is no shade at this sight. Terrain is flat, sometimes wet after rain.
Waterfowl, herons and other waders are the stars at this sight. Over 220 bird species have been seen here, along with 63 butterfly species.
Bring water, snacks and lunch. We will picnic by the automobiles, but you may want a backpack to take some water and snacks on the trek
